Hello all.

As previously mentioned, the re-formed committee had a meeting on Sunday, and as a result we have a few things to tell you, to get the ball rolling for Conception.
There will be other announcements in due course, so please keep an eye out here every so often.

Firstly, system.
We believe that a move to 4e wouldn't be right for Lihr. We are going to continue under 3.5 rules for the time being, and will be looking at/assessing other possible systems, particularly the Pathfinder system when it's released into live.

Secondly, we have decided that after Conception we will be splitting the campaign into low and high-level. The cut-off point is not yet decided: we'll be conducting a character audit at Conception that will assist us with that decision. We will undertake to run at least one high-level adventure per year. You'll be able to have one character in each of the campaigns, and can decide which to retire if you get to the point where you'd have two in the high-level campaign.

Thirdly, we want your input.
Silverlode has been re-taken. So what goals do your characters have now that you've helped save the world again?
If there is anything specific that you want to do or to achieve, either out-of-game or that will involve a specific mission, now's the time to tell us, BEFORE 31ST OCTOBER.
We can't guarantee to fulfil requests, but we will consider them all. The cut-off date is a must so that we have enough time to prepare any special missions for Conception. Therefore any requests/suggestions received after this date won't be taken into account for Conception (but will be considered for future cons.)

That's all for now, keep watching this space...
The Lihr Team

Hi.

Events next year - up to 4, we think. Conception and GenCon, obviously. As to possible others, we're open to suggestions (especially from the Dragonmouth team about a possible 'shared' weekend  Wink )

Yes, we'll need to recap some recent history to refresh everyone's memory - won't be immediate, but keep watching, although to be extremely brief: Lihr came back from the dead, you got a portal open to Silverlode, you retook Silverlode, the portal got broken...

Just wondered if there was any further update on Lihr.  How things are likely to develop etc.

Tony,

it was put up before but has dissapeared when the website went down.

I think a synopsis was:

No to 4th Ed, starting with 3.5 and moving to 3.75

No update on story progression

Er...almost

3.5 for the time being, evaluating other possibilities. 3.75 is one of those possibilities, but 4th ed is not.

There will be an update at some point before Conception re recent history.

Volunteers always welcome, please email us!

I did offer to write about 6-12 months ago but not heard anything since.  Offer still stands although I think it is a bit late for Birmingham..

Thanks Tony - I hadn't forgotten your offer.
We're okay for Birmingham and I'm glad you'll get the chance to play again.
